All you need is love.

Olive enjoying time in her new home.

Amazing what love can do.

To be honest, we didn’t think Olive had much time left. She came to the shelter, skin and bones, not eating, and with lymph nodes the size of plums on either side of her shoulders. The vet felt she may have some sort of cancer, possibly lymphoma. Olive was not thriving at the shelter, and had stopped eating altogether. At SCAMP, we felt strongly that Olive deserved the kindness of spending her last days in a home. We will be forever grateful to the family that offered to care for her, and Oh, How they have loved her! Miraculously, Olive started eating, wagging, and before we knew it she was out on mile long walks with her new family! Olive lived a wonderful six weeks with her family before it was time to say her final good-bye. She was loved and happy, and her memory will be cherished.
