Rock is a great example of an awesome dog coming through Cheatham County Animal Control. A friendly young dog who is highly adoptable. Except when he came to us, he had a disfiguring “cherry eye”, and he had some baby teeth both top and bottom that had not fallen out like they are supposed to, so he had extra teeth. When Rock got neutered, we had the vet fix his cherry eye and pull his retained baby teeth. Yep, that cost extra! This is exactly why SCAMP is here, to pay for procedures that are out of financial reach for the shelter, and if not done would greatly hinder his adoption prospects. Happy to report that Rock was adopted shortly after surgery to a great family!
