Heartworm treatment seems to be a theme.

Randy may be all smiles, but this is no laughing matter. Half way through 2022 and 10 dogs have tested positive for heartworms. Two went to rescue but that leaves eight more that SCAMP will be paying for, and the year is only half over. Please we are asking you to not only get your dogs tested and on prevention every year, but to help educate your friends, family and neighbors. Heartworms are very prevalent in Tennessee and treatment is costly, but not treating is fatal. There are a number of medications and ways to keep your dogs safe! Thank you.
