Ever wonder about those cute Tennessee license plates with the dog and the cat? When you purchase an Animal Friendly license plate, over half the cost goes to a fund that is used to support low cost spay neuter efforts. Specifically the money goes to government shelters and 501c3’s like SCAMP. We were excited to be awarded $1100, especially since we have only been in existence for a year, grant money can be hard to come by. And of course we will put it to good use, as we have lots of cats and dogs to fix at CCAC before they can be adopted!
