A nice place to rest makes a big difference!

It seems like such an obvious thing, but for years, we did not have a dedicated area to sit with dogs besides our play yard. So when a group of young men from Ensworth High School offered their services, we put them to work with a vision of creating a space where dogs and humans could sit and relax. The guys spent a full day hauling gravel, leveling the terrain, clearing brush, and laying stone, so that we could have a cozy area to sit and love on the dogs. Even in the hot temperatures, the gravel stays cool with the shade from above. It’s a great location for our Don Moser Bench, and we look forward to years of enjoyment! SCAMP was more than happy to pick up the tab for the stone. Thanks to the Ensworth men for your efforts to Make This PAWSible.
