Medical funds for the cats

Few people outside of sheltering are aware that most shelters take in far more cats than dogs! That’s because cats can multiply early and often, and lots of them live outdoors. So we get our share of cats, and yes, cats get sick. They can be vulnerable to a a variety of medical conditions and infectious diseases. So kudos to some of our die hard cat fosters and volunteers, who donated money to SCAMP specifically for cat medical issues. We set that money aside and earmarked it specifically for the cats. Here is Fluffball, who needed to be evaluated by a vet, and we were grateful to have our “Cat Medical” fund available to make it PAWSible!
