It seemed simple enough, but that was before we knew the reality. Placing pigs is hard! No, these pigs were not for bacon. When an owner surrendered his two pigs because he could no longer care for them, Cheatham County Animal Control pledged to find them a good home. After considering offers near and far, the winner was a not-for-profit farm where the piggies would live on shady acreage with a few other porcine friends, and NO they would NOT become pork chops. Transporting 2 pigs was no small task. Don graciously made the 375 mile round trip drive for us, and SCAMP was happy to pick up the tab for fuel. SCAMP’s tight knit coordination allows us to pull these details together quickly so that we continue to Make it PAWSible!
