Ready for Takeoff!

Cheatham County Animal Control takes in more animals than they can adopt out locally. Simply too many dogs and not enough people coming by to adopt! Luckily we are blessed with northern rescue partners, willing to take our dogs and find homes out of state. In order to travel across state lines, each dog needs to get vaccinations and a medical exam by a veterinarian, receiving a clean bill of health to travel. We were a little concerned when we had 10 dogs come to us all on one day in July, but amazingly there was a willing partner up in Chicago who could take them! The bill to get them ready, over $600! Fortunately, SCAMP had the funds on hand, and the lucky 10 left the next day for their new adventure in the Windy City!
