Emergent care is PAWSible

Rover was found injured on the interstate

Thanks to donations SCAMP could help.

One of the great unknowns is “What will our medical emergencies be?”. There isn’t a way to know in advance. The only thing for sure is that there WILL be emergencies, and SCAMP will be asked to help. When Rover, shown above, was found injured on the interstate, he was taken emergently to the vet and found to have a fracture that will require future surgery. SCAMP was glad to pay for the initial bills that included xrays, a vet exam, and meds to control his pain. Fortunately, Rover is doing well and will be headed to a rescue that is equipped to handle the rest of his care. It’s a lot nicer from our end to know we have money in the bank to pay for these bills as they arise, rather than having to beg the public for immediate donations. That’s one reason why we are so appreciative of your generosity throughout the year, to make Rover’s care PAWSible!
