Classical music can reduce stress in shelter animals.

Did you know that classical music has been shown to have a calming effect on dogs in shelters? We try to get the soft music going every afternoon and into the evening when we leave, but we have two kennel areas and had only one CD player. So we ordered a second CD player, several CD’s, and some extension cords. Now all the dogs at Cheatham County Animal Control will have the benefit of soothing music to help them relax at the end of the day. Thank you for supporting SCAMP.
