Setting the “bench” mark for volunteerism.
Don Moser: Helped more ways than could fit on the plaque.
From the years 2019-2021, few individuals contributed as much to Cheatham County Animal Control as Don Moser. One of our first “regular” volunteers, he walked dogs consistently at a time when we were lucky to get dogs out once a day. As our program grew, so did Don’s love and commitment to the program. Always an advocate on social media, a voice of reason amid discussions, and always, always the first to offer his services. Although originally a dog walker, he evolved into our lead transporter, taking dogs and cats (and a pig) on countless rides, getting them to where they needed to go. As a founding board member of SCAMP, and of course father to the “original Scamp”, Don continues to have a hand in CCAC, even from afar. We were thrilled to have the ability to purchase a beautiful well-crafted bench, for all to enjoy while spending time at Cheatham County Animal Control. The plaque, of course says it all. Thank you Don.
