$1000 Grant from Athletes for Animals

Grateful for the grant support for spay/neuter!

There is nothing more important in our work than spay and neuter. It’s the root cause of animal overpopulation in Cheatham County. So long as affordable spay and neuter options are lacking, we will continue to struggle. That’s why it is critical that that the animals adopted from CCAC are fixed. It helps us be part of the solution and not part of the problem. Without surgery capabilities on site, we are reliant on outside clinics, and that costs money. So we were thrilled to learn that we were awarded a $1000 grant from Athletes For Animals, a nonprofit that promotes responsible pet ownership across the nation. That’s 20 cats or 13 dogs we can get fixed. Thank you, A4A!
