Loving Timber

A happy dog in a loving home.

Timber was given the gifts of love, time, and family.

It’s hard to believe that Timber was with us for eight months, when you consider that the first two vets he saw recommended euthanasia. He was emaciated and dejected, but he was not down for the count! Volunteers saw something in him they felt was worth trying for, and with that glimmer of hope, Timber was made our first “fospice” dog. Fospice is the lingo in the animal rescue world for a dog that is not well enough to adopt, we consider it a Foster-Hospice situation. Timber was lucky enough to land with the perfect foster who loved him, introduced him to bacon, changed his diapers, and showed him the life he deserved to have. Timber crossed over the rainbow bridge on November 21, 2022, eight months after he arrived. RIP Timber!
