It’s the little stuff

Sometimes it’s not the big stuff we need, but the little things! There are ongoing needs at any shelter. At Cheatham County Animal Control, we are proud to use Martingale Collars as our preferred training collar. We like them for the way they humanely secure the dog, and dogs cannot slip out of them as they do with traditional flat collars. Each adopted dog goes home in a Martingale collar, so we always need to pick up a few more of various sizes. In addition, our dogs use soft training treats during the day when we work with them, so we have to replenish treats as well. And for our occasional dog that prefers the outside kennel, we picked up a cooling mat for their comfort. So just know that every donation, no matter how big or small, is used for something to benefit the animals. Thank you!
