Canine Papilloma Virus. It’s a thing.

We have to admit, we loved Spud right from the start. A friendly young stray dog who was full of energy and loved to play. We were a little surprised when he was noted to have warty growths in his mouth when he was neutered. The diagnosis, Canine Papilloma Virus, was a nuisance but expected to resolve on it’s own. We thought the worst part was that it was contagious, so no play time with others for Spud. Then, his eye got a wart too! We had him looked at by a vet and he got an ointment. Just in time for him to be reclaimed by his owner! We are so glad all the things got done for Spud while he was with us. Heal up soon Spud!
