Milton came to us in rough shape.

Kindness to animals is basic human decency.

We often think we have heard it all, but we haven’t. There is always a new animal with a new story to be told. Milton was found unable to walk on the side of a country road. Animal Control was called and they took him immediately to the vet. Xrays showed over 30 pellets of birdshot in his back side. He had a broken leg that requires a leg amputation when he is strong enough to have that surgery. He also developed a nasty infection that required a two week stay at the vet where he received daily care. Through the generosity of donors in the community, we received donations to help us care for Milton’s bill. Onward and upward, Milton!
