Cricket was saved.
Cricket was in our care in a time of need.
Cricket came to Cheatham County Animal Control when folks realized she was pregnant, and they knew they could not care for her during her pregnancy. She was placed with a CCAC foster to watch over her. And good thing, because she went into labor too soon, resulting in two stillborn premature kittens. Cricket did not look well and she had a fever. The vet determined that she had some retained tissue and an infection. She stayed with the vet for antibiotics and a spay so that she could heal. If Cricket were on her own, she would have died. Thankfully she was with an experienced foster, and glad that SCAMP had the funds to pay for her care.
