Sapphire is a gem.

Getting better all the time.

Sapphire was fragile, but she never gave up.

Sapphire sure looked rough when she showed up at Cheatham County Animal Control. She had electrical burns to her mouth, and trouble feeding, among other things. She went to our most experienced medical foster who nurtured her while Sapphire fought her way to health. She required surgery to deal with her injuries, and SCAMP was glad to pick up the tab, along with volunteers who made donations specifically in honor of this little warrior! SCAMP was created to fund these difficult cases, so that Sapphire can have the opportunity she needs to fly! Postscript: Sapphire passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, with her adoptive family. She gave all she had and so did her humans. Life is fleeting. RIP Sapphire.
