And a big YES to HW Prevention!

It’s hard to believe, but 17 dogs tested positive for heartworms at CCAC this year. That’s far more than typical. Of those, 13 dogs had their treatment paid for by SCAMP, thanks to donations from the general public. Treating heartworms is pricey, plus it’s hard on the dogs! Life would be a lot simpler if all dogs got heartworm prevention. Please talk to your vet. HW prevention is simple, affordable and effective. Let’s make this a regular part of responsible pet ownership!
