It has been a long year for treating heartworms! Willie and June were HW dogs numbers 11 and 12 at CCAC, and we still have one more on the schedule! Thanks go SCAMP donations and a specific HW fundraiser each year, we have the funds and we are happy to get these guys healthy. But we sure would love to see the general public get on board with heartworm testing and prevention. It’s an important part of being a dog owner here in the south, and all over the US actually! Talk to your vet about an option that is right for you!
