Sometimes we don’t know the answers to what happened and why. We just know what we have in front of us and what needs to be done. In Benni’s case, she was found in Cheatham County by good samaritans with a large gaping wound across her neck. She needed emergent surgery to clean and close the wound. With a price tag over $500, this is exactly why SCAMP was created. Thanks to our generous donors, we had the money to say YES when asked. Benni had her surgery, and is recovering nicely at the shelter. Loved by all, Benni has shown us what it means to be resilient. She greets every human, dog and cat with a wag and a smile. Better days ahead for this beautiful soul.
