Patches came to CCAC as a stray in July of 2021, a cheerful pup with patches of hair loss, caused by demodex, the kind of mange that puppies can get. When no owner came forward, CCAC took steps to get Patches to a healthier, happier place. Patches received much needed medical care - he was treated for Demodex, was vaccinated and fixed, and a northern rescue was found. SCAMP was happy to pay for the neuter and the rabies vaccination, critical pieces in caring for dogs going to rescue. Spay and neuter are what will keep our shelters from overflowing! Everybody fix your pets!
