Too much heartworm already in 2023.

The heartworm situation is no joke, but how do we get the word out? Phone a friend, shout it from the roof top, wear a heartworm T-shirt! Really anything to let people know that dogs need to be on heartworm prevention year round. Tennessee is one of the worst states for heartworms, but prevention makes a huge difference. Remy will be treated and we hope she will be cured. But it sure is a lot of effort, expense, and discomfort for a dog, that is preventable. There are numerous options now for prevention. Talk to your vet! And tell a friend and neighbor too!
