Leg amputation? Potato doesn’t sweat it!

Potato may have started out with some bad luck, but all’s well that ends well. Potato had a traumatic injury that sent her to Cheatham County Animal Control. With a crushed left hind leg, she required an amputation. Although that sounds terrible, the truth is that cats and dogs do very well with three legs, especially when the front two are in good working order. The good news is that Potato go through surgery just fine and was adopted to a family shortly thereafter. Last we heard she was resting on the couch like a good potato should! SCAMP was happy to pick up the surgery bill, thanks to the donations we receive from all of you!
